One assessment is a snapshot; a series is a trend. Reassessments in the same series let you evidence improvement between reviews, which is usually what a regulator or board actually asks for.
The series view
On My assessments, assessments in a series stack together: the newest is shown with its history behind a toggle listing earlier assessments and their dates. Each remains fully openable, exactly as it was assessed, including the framework version it was assessed against.
The trend line
The dashboard of the latest assessment shows a small trend line across the series, with the movement since the previous assessment stated in points. It is drawn from each assessment's position over its in-scope items, computed on the same basis so the comparison is fair.
Reading movement honestly
- Movement can come from remediation, but also from scope changes or answering previously unassessed items. Check the completion counts before crediting a jump.
- Comparisons only make sense within a series. A new standalone assessment starts a new baseline.
- For CAF assessments, the trend tracks the indicative position, not a compliance score; the judgement-level picture in the report is the authoritative statement.
