Reassessing creates a fresh assessment in the same series, pre-filled from the last one. The original is kept unchanged, so the series becomes your history.
Starting a reassessment
- On My assessments, choose Reassess on the assessment (or use the Reassess button in an open assessment's header).
- A new assessment opens, titled with the reassessment date and linked to the series.
What carries forward
- All answers, notes and setup, with the assessment date reset to today. You then re-verify rather than start blank: confirm what still holds, change what moved.
- The whole evidence register: records and their outcome links are copied, and attachments are shared rather than duplicated.
- The framework version stamp, so the reassessment asks the same questions as its predecessor.
What gets flagged
Evidence records whose review date has passed are flagged in the new assessment as possibly out of date, so the first job of a reassessment is visible immediately: re-confirm the stale evidence before re-confirming the statuses that rest on it. Movement against the previous assessment shows on the dashboard trend.
